Every living creature on Earth serves some purpose. Whether it’s to pollinate our plants or to be part of the food source, or something else every living creature has a reason to be here. Perhaps this is why some animals become extinct; they’ve served their purpose and are no longer a breed needed on Earth?!
Either way, the truth is that animals are good for our planet and today we’re featuring some of the most important animals in our world. These animals help keep human beings and other living creatures going on Earth.
Bees
These flying creatures pollinate nearly everything you consume. Bees are responsible for pollinating about one-third of everything humans eat.
Frogs
Frogs tend to react to biological hazards quicker than other creatures on Earth. This means frogs not only help our environment be less dangerous, but they can let us know when an environment is dangerous.
Birds
Birds do a lot of work for our environment. They are part of insect control, forest decomposition, and nutrient recycling just to share a few ways birds are good for our planet.
Sea Lions
These sea animals can be trained to go deep into the ocean where humans aren’t able to reach. They’re equipped with special equipment that can send back information about ocean temperature, salinity, and other important data to help us understand the ocean waters.
Rats
Human beings have been using rats to sniff out explosive devices for what seems like ever. Rats have a similar sense of smell as dogs, but they’re smaller so they can get into tighter spaces thus helping our planet not get blown up.
Dogs
These domestic animals are good for our planet because they’re able to work with animals and even work as a conservationist. Their sense of smell helps us find new plants and animals to further evaluate various life forms on the planet.
Ants
Ants stir up the soil more than Earthworms. As ants work to build their tunnels they aerate the soil and recycle important nutrients found in the ground. This helps maximize plant growth.
