With the permission of Rothenburg ob der Tauber, if there is a place where you will experience Christmas like nowhere else, it is Bernkastel-Kues, a municipality in the Moselle Valley, considered one of the most beautiful towns in Germany and my favorite in area.

Walking through the streets of this little town is like being teleported to another era. Its central square is pure fantasy, especially at Christmas time when the city wears its best clothes. Nor can you miss the views from its castle, as I assure you they will leave you speechless. Do not hesitate and include this town on your route through the country!
